EUROCEMENT group, leading producer of cement in Russia, has announced personnel changes associated with the implementation of national projects in areas such as residential construction, transport infrastructure and ecology. Ashot Khachaturyants has been appointed Acting Company President. His priority tasks will include creating a development strategy for the Holding, generating new points of growth and establishing a favourable environment for the most effective use of the company's competitive advantage.

Mikhail Skorokhod will keep his post as Chief Executive Vice President of the Holding.

Filaret Galchev, BoD Chairman of EUROCEMENT group, commented on the appointment of Ashot Khachaturyants, 'I am confident that Ashot Khachaturyants will help our company use the current opportunities presented by the Russian construction market to the full extent. EUROCEMENT group was established in 2002. The company currently unites 19 cement enterprises in Russia and abroad as well as concrete plants, precast concrete plants, industrial mineral quarries. The Holding's operations cover the full production cycle, from extraction of raw materials at the company's own quarries to supplying final products to consumers. EUROCEMENT group is among the Top 5 biggest private-owned cement producers in the world. The production capacity of the company's enterprises is 60 million t of cement and 11 million m3 of concrete.
