As part of the scheduled overhaul at Kavkazcement (a subsidiary of the EUROCEMENT group) in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, rotary kiln No. 2, which had been in reserve for 4 years, has been overhauled and put into operation. Putting all the kilns into operation will allow the company to achieve maximum utilisation during the 2020 construction season.
'The high quality of our products meets the strictest customer requirements, making them an ideal fit for construction projects in the North Caucasus and Southern Russia. The significant increase in the utilisation of the company's production capacity was made possible as a result of a series of major investment projects, improving the grade of our products, the development of targeted products, measures which all resulted in an increased demand for our cements. In 2020, we plan to expand output by more than 40%', stressed Kavkazcement CEO, Oleg Lopatin.
Today, the company is carrying on with repairs and overhaul. Before the start of the high construction season, company technicians and contractors plan to complete the scheduled overhaul of the main and auxiliary production equipment. RUB 400 million is being invested in the project.
